Tyla joined Radial through a fellowship with the Turing Code School, as part of Turning and Radial’s respons to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She began her coding journey doing front-end development with a friend and mentor. After discovering her aptitude and love for software development, she enrolled at Turing and focused her efforts toward Ruby on Rails. She enjoys working with the ruby debugging tool, pry, and building test-driven software with Rails and RSpec.
When she isn’t writing software, she enjoys being outdoors in a hammock by a river, or camping, climbing or slacklining in the mountains all around Colorado.
